I want to thank Middlemount BASC for taking on the oppurtunity to provide a service for the children of working parents to close the gap we have in town, there were times where parents were not sure they would return to work due to the community losing one of its most utilised resources.

My son has been attending BASC for just over 3 years and we couldn’t be happier, to see how the service has grown over this time is quite an achievement. It’s such a pleasant feeling to know that my child will be safe and catered for during before and after school care with activities that he enjoys.

I have seen an amazing variety of activities offered already involving all children, such as reading corners, Lego, board games, arts and craft activities that change daily, dancing, listening to music, singing karaoke and in the afternoon outdoor activities including basketball, handball and many more.

The vacation care program also offers a variety of activities and excursions for all children. I would like to congratulate and give appreciation to all the staff members for their continuous efforts to keep all children safe and entertained through both sessions, and provide them a nurturing and safe environment to just be themselves. Well done and thank you!
